Palace of Engineers and Technicians
Architect: Vladyslav Fadeichev, Boris Dzbanovskyi, Yevhen Ivanov
Description: The neoclassical building of the Palace of Engineers and Technicians won first place at the All-Ukrainian Competition for New Buildings in 1953. Its classicist architecture, with appropriate sculptural elements, made it one of the city’s most iconic buildings. It was known for the high quality of its interior design, which was on a par with the famous government buildings in Kyiv. As of 2026, the former Palace building remains in a dilapidated state.
