Description
The machine hall of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station was architecturally exceptional. Its façade featured Renaissance-Revival architectural techniques, while the round porthole windows evoked both the Bauhaus and the rose windows of the Gothic era. As a result of Russian troops blowing up the hydroelectric power station, the machine hall broke apart into several sections and cannot be restored.
