Description
The building was originally constructed for the Podil Fire Station. It was designed in the brick style and featured a watchtower for monitoring the city. Since 1992, the building has housed the Chornobyl Museum. The museum had reopened after restoration just a month before the strike. As a result of the attack, the interior and the museum collection were destroyed.
